Wonderful and interesting list! I haven't made any lists for the summer, but things are happening anyway. Looks like we will be hosting a family 4th of July gathering here at our house, so my list now includes cleaning house and getting prepared for that! Plus doctor appointments for myself and hubby in the meantime. After that, who knows? Summer is so hot here we mostly just plan to stay cool.
On my list, reading the 3 magazines that i have received and not read. shopping for new tee shirts for the hubs, online of course. i have to backup my computer. i plan on making a fun dinner tonight - if i have the energy. i have bills to pay and a blog post to write. buying local, if you can, is great!!!
Window shopping is nice, but I always find myself in the stores at the end. ; ) I admire that you read so much. I don't read as much as I'd like to because of my tired eyes.
I'm actually working on crossing books off my list as I've been reading up a storm. 8 books I had on hold came in all at once and I've been trying to read them before they're due back. I do need to add comforter or bedspread to my list though as the washing machine just ate mine this morning... and now it's in shreds. I've never had that happen before!
I am waiting for new (to me) books to arrive Saturday I have a UFO (unfinished objects) craft day. Church on Sunday A training day all day Monday An out of town medical appointment Tuesday So those, with a card to finish, washing to do and cats and hens to care for will keep me busy for several days! And if I do get a few spare moments and the weather is fine, there are weeds to be pulled out too Blessings Maxine
Love your list! My list would also include making healthy salads. It's getting hot here, so a light lunch is nice. I'm busy with garden work, but really need to get some indoor work done too. I guess first on the list, is to install some AC around here. Get some items from the store this week, make some tinctures while plants are fresh, visit the library maybe, try a new recipe (need some ingredients first), and get myself some reading done. I have a habit of buying more books than I can get read in one year, ha ha!
Your list is more fun than mine. Mine is chopping down all the knee-high weeds in the yard with hedge clippers because we don't have a mower or weed whacker. Then washing the porch and screens and pulling the porch together (harder than it looks), vacuuming the house and trying to figure out how to cover an ugly furnace in the utility room. I'm already tired!
Sounds like a great list! I'm working on my summer bucket list but it feels like fall this week!

ReplyDeleteA good list.
ReplyDeleteOn mine is a visit to the library to choose a new selection of books, to get the car washed ... and to go shopping!
Not sure what order I'll do them in!
All the best Jan
Your list should be my list! The pile of books to be read is growing!
