Trust

I saw another blogger post on something I've tried to not think about, and now I'm thinking about it. Denial. It's a word I am very familiar with in conjunction with what ifs. I've had what ifs lately. And it's not pleasant. What ifs are akin to doubt. Doubt leads to regret. This leads to trusting God. Do I trust Him?  Just some thoughts.

  1. I think it's very good to think though these things. The "what-if's" are something I'm prone to doing too, and it's definitely not fun. Hope you find joy and peace, today.

  2. Regine sometimes when I'm facing a difficulty I ask God what is He trying to teach me.

I also understand the " what ifs" too. But then I remember Jesus's Words where He tells us not to worry about tomorrow. The Lord knows our needs and He will see us through.

  3. We are all good at denial sometimes, it is a way of coping I think.

  4. Most times, it is easy to deny truth when it hurts. Denial means trying to hold on to your own perceptions of reality, when in fact, you are avoiding truth...
Denial is a coping mechanism that gives you time to adjust to distressing situations — but staying in denial can interfere with treatment or your ability to tackle challenges. If you're in denial, you're trying to protect yourself by refusing to accept the truth about something that's happening in your life...

  5. I think we deny until can't anymore. Or at least it's easy to do. Cope as one must but eventually, we all come face to face with it. Hold close.
