Understanding

What I wanted
Understanding
From others
God wants
From me
Truth and
Obedience
Do I believe
And put
Into action
What faith
Teaches me
Or is
My faith
A farce

  2. I think many of us who read your blog who are Christ followers have asked the same thing of ourselves. Thank you Regine for your thought provoking post and causing us to examine ourselves.

  6. I don't think faith is a farce, but sometimes I wonder what it is for.
My 5-year-old grandson was taken from me when he was run over by a dirty Dodge. I had lost faith for a while, but still ..... there is more between heaven and earth and again and again you come back to faith.

  7. A good question to ponder. Not a farce, but a way to hold ourselves in this world.

  10. Your faith isn't a farce. Understanding the "other" is never easy. But you are willing to try.

  13. Dearest Regine,
Don't think our faith is ever a farce but we are above all; HUMAN.
Doubt is often our struggle when we face things that we temporarily can't grasp.
    Hugs,

  14. I hear what you are saying Regine - it is an on going tension at times to act on our faith.
    Stay safe
