I'm exhausted Lord
I'm having to trust
You in every moment
I'm seeing that even if
You love people
You can't make them
Do what is necessary
Why is it so hard
I'm at my breaking point
Dearest Regine, Yes, we all ought to pray and pray hard. Those that don't obey, nor adhere to any morals, will have to face their final Judge for their own consequences... We cannot change them. Hugs, Mariette
I understand your frustrations but we cannot will that things be done our way. All is done by God's hand and grace...we must trust his judgement and his chosen time to answer.
You sound like David in his Psalms where he was surrounded by his enemies. And yet he still praised God. Praise Him in the storm. Praying for you! Blessings.
I hear you anguish Regine - as I keep saying to my daughter - 'let them go' - give the whole situation to God, He can work with them when we cannot. If we hold onto our angst, we are preventing God from working in their lives. I will pray for your peace Stay safe Blessings Maxine
Regine, I can relate and all we can do is give these situations over to God. And I recommend you take a one week break from the news. It's so discouraging. Instead read the scriptures and find a good Christian movie like Overcomer or War Room. Have a blessed week!
This is such a beautiful and emotional poem, and thank you for sharing. I hope you are doing okay; and have a support system around you for when you feel like this.
Dear R, thanks for coming by the Meanderings. When you're in your breaking point, you are expanding the kindness within you. You have grown. Take care dear one. Sending hugs across ether.
so sad to hear this. God gave mankind free will and sometimes they do the wrong things. We can only try to the right things and hope the wrong doers will realize their errors. Dwell on the good as much as possible! hugs
Boy this hits home today. Thanks. And thanks for visiting my blog.:-)

Lovely words.
ReplyDeleteTake care and be safe.
You can't control others. You can only control yourself and your reaction. God's greatest gift is love, but another gift is free will.
ReplyDeleteGreat words! Thanks for sharing.
