yes the truth is here

 What disability teaches you

Humility

Perseverance

How to be uncomfortable

humble enough

to admit you

can only type

twenty words

a minute

do not have

full range of motion

and my legs

hurt after

sitting

or standing

too long

Perseverance

To recognize

What you used

to deny

even if

meant you

were lying

and know

to truth

telling

is fulfilling

how to be uncomfortable

This is so hard

because often

your discomfort

must be seen

to get help

Pride must fall

every day

in every way

  4. Pride is a tough thing. I've finally learned it is okay not to be able to do everything anymore.

  5. Bless you dear one. Sometimes I find myself complaining about my discomfort, and then I read this and realize I don't know what discomfort really is. Please forgive me, Father. And please bless my friend with some real comfort just about now. Thank you, Lord.
