I’d be envied
But I’ve gotten
So many compliments
On the writing gift
It’s as if
I just pluck words
Out of thin air
And make magic
Happen when
The thoughts
Collide
The ratty tees
And sweats
Are my uniform
And it is
A blessing
To call the shots
A privilege
I never
Imagined
