Wanting an answer where there is none

The blog title seems to sum up my mood.  When I don't agree with a situation or question a motive, I get bitter and have gotten bitter, because I am upset, haven't gotten my way or just rationality.  Don't really know if that's the right word.  I had to read John 3:16, to remember who I live for.  17-20 may have been more potent for me.  17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but save the world through Him. 18 Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever who does believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of GOD'S one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict:  Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.  20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.  21 But whoever lives by the truth comes to the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
God Bless,
R

  3. I'm also in a stage of waiting for answers whilst trying not to become consumed in my own bitterness and impatience. Thanks for sharing this scripture. I need to go read it again - like right now!

    Blessings!

  4. Thank you for sharing.

At the beginning of the movie "It's a Wonderful Life," one of the heavenly figures says, "You'll spend that hour getting to know that man." If you time the portion of the movie when Clarence gets to know that man, you'll find it's more than 60 minutes. I think about that when I find myself getting impatient with God's timing (when I don't get an answer as quickly as I'd like).

As it says in book of Isaiah, "For my ways are higher than your ways saith the Lord."
