Resurrection

I will keep writing
I will share my
Imperfection
I spent years hiding
What I already saw
My life matters
I just had
To believe
It
And
And I don’t have
The energy
Disputing my worth
I wanted
To be normal
God had
Other plans
The person
I get
To discover
Is me
Lord
Thank you
For validation
Through
A resurrection

  3. I'm always inspired you being vulnerable to share your weaknesses. It encourages me to do the same. God has given you the gift of words of wisdom. Thank you for sharing!

  5. I so relate to this piece, beautifully written and heartfelt. I have never felt normal, and self worth is only a goal but coming easier as I grow and age.

  8. absolutely! Glad you found validation of worth - so important - and as all our -- you are unique - there is no one else with your experience, point of view, trials and wisdoms than you. And that is one makes one so interesting and valuable. I'm happy because even if you take just one aspect of yourself which you are a really good writer - that alone can light a room.

  10. You have walked a long road to personal acceptance - as have a lot of us - I have learnt over the years that God sees us as uniquely made for His purposes - not what we want but what He wants should be our cry (I am also preaching to myself, don't worry)
    Stay safe
    Blessings
