In order to love what I see in the mirror...I want to start a series on the myth versus reality of what Cerebral Palsy does not so much physically but mentally...feel like it is a Charles Darwin survival of the fittest mentality. Would you like to join me on the journey? It's a risk, but one I need to take!
Any comments, suggestions, ideas for my first post? Let's go, you ready for a RIDE?

That sounds like a great idea that could bring a lot of healing to yourself and others that can relate in some way to your posts or feel inspired. It is beautiful - just like you!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,

Thank you, B! I appreciate it!
DeleteSounds good, Regine. I think I could get help from a series like this--we all struggle with myths and they can cross lines even if our issues are different.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any personal experience with Cerebral Palsy, but I have disabilities of my own. And talking from girl to girl, I think you know as well as I do that we girls fall into a lot of lies about ourselves. We can be far too harsh on ourselves, and living with disabilities certainly doesn't make it easier. I look forward to seeing you write more about this.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds amazing!

I say go for it. I think we could all benefit from a series like that.
