Monday questions

 How was your Mother’s Day?

What are you reading?

What are you eating?

What are you buying?

What is making you smile?

Good. Took Mom to Zaxby’s. Small town. Not much open. She enjoyed her salad. Told me it was the thought that counted. I guess fancy doesn’t matter sometimes.

Kinfolk magazine

Protein bar

Browsing my favorite boutique The House of Ford out of Greenville

A sweet text message I didn’t expect.

I'm reading a book by Nelson DeMille called The Panther. It's very good. Mother's Day was nice. I felt loved and appreciated! I just polished off the brownies that I made yesterday... I bought some new clothes over the weekend. I am smiling at the thought of only having one more Monday in the school year :).

  12. Mother's day was good and quiet. I just finished 2 books today and started Monday's Not Coming & Speak. I'm eating lots of fruits and veggies after our vacation and buying clothes for Alec for the summer. Funny TV shows and books have made me smile today.

Still reading my Bible and catching up with blogs.
We had pizza tonight for dinner. They made the wrong pizza so they gave us both for the original price!
    I'm buying new bras!
I'm smiling at the fragrance from the lilac bushes outside

  16. Fancy definitely does not matter. It's time and attention that make us happy.

How was your Mother’s Day? Blissfully quiet, but it included communication with my son and daughter-in-law.
What are you reading? Nobody's Girl by Virginia Roberts Giuffre (very sad)
What are you eating? I got some braised beef and mashed potatoes at Costco, which we didn't eat when my son and DIL were here, so I'm enjoying it now. It's delicious and enough for several meals.
What are you buying? A new pair of walking shoes.
What is making you smile? Sound effects I added to a video I made on Clip Champ. And Princess. Always Princess.

    Love,

  17. Great questions! I like your answers. Zaxby's is wonderful when you are with someone you love!! I'm sure your mother enjoyed that special treat with you. I know I would!
My mother's Day was very sweet. We kind of spread it out over several days since everyone couldn't be together at the same time. I am thankful and blessed.
What are you reading? Just started a new book last night..."In Farleigh Field" by Rhys Bowen.

What are you eating? Having a cup of tea at the moment. Breakfast will be probably a scrambled egg and some Banana Nut bread that I made.

What are you buying? Nothing beyond groceries at the moment. Oh, I ordered a new gasket for my oven door...so exciting! LOL.

What is making you smile? Lately the bluebird family in our yard. I wrote about it yesterday. They have been very active out there for several days, and it has been such fun to watch them.

I hope you have a lovely rest of your week. Thank you for this fun little time to visit.
