Good. Took Mom to Zaxby’s. Small town. Not much open. She enjoyed her salad. Told me it was the thought that counted. I guess fancy doesn’t matter sometimes.

I just got a book on prayer from Amazon and I have to start it. I'm eating a boiled egg for breakfast. Not buying anything at the moment and I'm smiling as I catch up on blogs.

ReplyDeleteI'm reading a book by Nelson DeMille called The Panther. It's very good. Mother's Day was nice. I felt loved and appreciated! I just polished off the brownies that I made yesterday... I bought some new clothes over the weekend. I am smiling at the thought of only having one more Monday in the school year :).
Mother's day was good and quiet. I just finished 2 books today and started Monday's Not Coming & Speak. I'm eating lots of fruits and veggies after our vacation and buying clothes for Alec for the summer. Funny TV shows and books have made me smile today.

Great, I finally figured out the secret. I made my own reservations and took myself out for high tea.

I am trying to get started on a fun summer mystery/romance, but I am still on page one. Too much going on. Plus I am waiting on new glasses.

Tonight I made burgers - boring!

Went to the Amish nurseries and bought lots of vegetable plants and some hanging baskets of flowers.

The men made breakfast for the ladies at church Sunday in place of Sunday school. They waited on us too and cleaned everything up.

What are you reading? Nobody's Girl by Virginia Roberts Giuffre (very sad)
What are you eating? I got some braised beef and mashed potatoes at Costco, which we didn't eat when my son and DIL were here, so I'm enjoying it now. It's delicious and enough for several meals.
What are you buying? A new pair of walking shoes.
What is making you smile? Sound effects I added to a video I made on Clip Champ. And Princess. Always Princess.

ReplyDeleteMy mother's Day was very sweet. We kind of spread it out over several days since everyone couldn't be together at the same time. I am thankful and blessed.
What are you reading? Just started a new book last night..."In Farleigh Field" by Rhys Bowen.
What are you eating? Having a cup of tea at the moment. Breakfast will be probably a scrambled egg and some Banana Nut bread that I made.
What are you buying? Nothing beyond groceries at the moment. Oh, I ordered a new gasket for my oven door...so exciting! LOL.
What is making you smile? Lately the bluebird family in our yard. I wrote about it yesterday. They have been very active out there for several days, and it has been such fun to watch them.
