a thousand thoughts

I often wonder.  Is it worth it?  How much to say.  To say something?  Do I try?  Or give up?  I've never known how to stop fighting even I say a thousand times; I give up.  Part of me never will.  This election is a lesson I won't soon forget.
God Bless

  1. During the height of the German Blitz, as British cities were being destroyed as British citizens were hiding in underground sanctuaries, Winston Churchill said, We will never give up, we will never give in, we will never surrender. During the blitz the British continued on, and you too can continue.

It is always worth it to try.

  2. That is good of you to never give up, Regine.

    Have a lovely weekend, dear.

  3. You have to remember any election is a secular campaign for a secular post. And, that no loss is a permanent defeat. The sun is still coming up, right? This is no worse than having your car in the shop. It may suck, but you get through it, you might struggle a bit, but it may end up better than it was. I really struggle with all the doom-and-gloom, end of the world emotions attached to this election. Sorry, but when Elijah had his pity party, God told him a) you aren't alone, and b) you have work to do. There's a lot of people out there that can do themselves a world of good by realizing this applies to them as well.
