One of my favourite expressions is: noblesse oblige. Nobility obligates. One has privilege...eats, wakes up, is educated enough to write, has something to smile about...this is privilege, this is nobility and one is obligated to use it well and to serve others.
I student once said to me that I always had a smile for my classes, and that was good because some of those kids didn't have nice mornings at home. That's how important a smile is I guess.
Absolutely true. We lose what we don't exercise. I just can't believe you can come up with a thought-provoking piece for every day! You're very talented and creative.
