I've hit it
I will not see
People unmasked
Check that privilege
At the door
I have needles
Put straight
Into my abdomen
To minimize my
Pain
So I'm
Not a thorn
In your side
And all
I ask is
For six feet
And a face covering
I wonder if therapy
Is just so
I can learn
To filter
Not
Crash and burn
Good words. Some people forget too quickly and don't have enough respect for this virus. Take care of yourself, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteIf only people understood that we are not asking a lot.. they don't need to sacrifice their lives. It's just a little inconvenience in the grand scheme of things..
ReplyDeleteTake care, stay well.
May love be the most beautiful mask of any face
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry you have to go through that.
ReplyDeleteI think Governor Cuomo said it best when he said, "I'm not infringing on your rights by asking you to wear a mask. You are infringing on mine when you don't wear one." Or words to that effect.
Sigh.
ReplyDeleteAnd hugs.
Yes, it is not fun and some people seem to think 'space' is theirs and no one else needs it ~ I get tired of having to move when people don't do the distance thing ~ and mask ~

I have loved ones who probably wouldn't survive COVID-19 so they wear a mask and so do I whenever we go somewhere.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good message for others!!

Well said. I operate under the same principle, though you may have had more needles than I.
ReplyDeleteSo agree, wear your masks!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Regine:)
ReplyDeleteThink of you Regine❤
ReplyDeletehope, your pain disappear soon.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day
Bien dicho. Saludos y cuidate,.
ReplyDeleteAs one who suffers an autoimmune disorder, I feel this on a very deep level!
ReplyDeleteI hear you... loud and clear!! I know others can be so inconsiderate (I'm being polite here) and I struggle with that too.
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings

I love your message: straightforward and useful!
ReplyDeletePrayers for you! I know you must be going through so much . . .
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think six feet is still too close. I often wonder why it's so hard for people to distance themselves.

I'm sorry people are so inconsiderate and selfish. I am in a high risk group, myself, so, in order to give space to others, I keep myself restricted to my home.
ReplyDeleteamen sister. 6 feet is too close in wind even. Everyone can wear a mask, and if those people want stores open for economy, it's going to backfire as no smart person wants to risk them, plus their stinkin guns. We do not have the right to threaten other citizens with a gun...
ReplyDeleteOh I do too!! I don't get it!
ReplyDeleteI am with you, what does it hurt for someone to wear a mask in the store.
ReplyDeleteHow they forget! Until it affects THEM.
ReplyDeleteTake care
Faith x
