Add to that the sounds of kids playing those games and the day is almost perfect.
Your words here stirred so many wonderful memories of when my own kids were growing up, and playing baseball and softball. I could smell the fresh-cut grass. Beautiful!

Spring is here too..baseball practice has started near the library.
I played baseball, but was never a good baseball player. But I loved to see someone catch a fly ball out in the outfield. That always made me cheer!~Sheri
