Call

I'm asking every person
of faith especially
After yesterday
No matter what
We are split
Start a conversation
With someone
Who doesn't
Agree with you
The Great Commission
starts here
I need to do better
We all do
God is making
me uncomfortable
He doesn't care
about what i want
right now
Radical love
what I'm called
to right now
There is some deep seated
Resentment now
and changing seats
is a must for me
if you met me
i want you
to say
We've seen Jesus

  1. The US needs prayer to be united again. It's okay to disagree as long as we remember that it's okay to disagree. Be kind, I always say.

  2. Amen Sister! Our pastor in a what I called a "pre-sermon" said that whoever we vote for be a gracious winner or a gracious loser. And God is still on the throne. And we need to pray for whoever wins the election. Bless you dear Regine!

  3. I do try... and sometimes I succeed, but I'm tired of being called a baby-killing, constitution-hating socialist set to destroy our country. Reaching out only goes so far if your hand gets slapped down by ignorance.

  8. I love the idea of starting and conversation with someone you don't agree with. I think that listening is the key.

  16. I'm not a person of faith myself but feel so deeply for the American minority communities, the uncertainty and fear of four more years of a leader who makes communities fearful of their own country, I can't even imagine. Beautiful sentiments, if only it were that simple.

  17. Oh what a beautiful message of hope and peace in the midst of much uncertainty. We know that God is in control no matter what the outcome, and yes, we must love one another regardless. That is our Great Commission for certain.
