we lost it due to the media's narrative that the world is divided and dangerous and it's due to one man. Totally ridiculous but they did their job and got people ready to fight one another. Those in power own the media and feed the narrative to them.
ReplyDeleteIt is strange times. I have already voted. I have a feeling the election this year won't be decided until months from now with so much hysteria going on about even voting and how the votes get there and who knows we might even get a rematch. And yes the media has done so much to fuel the fire. Stories of hearing how even in our local area of the rise in gun sales and shortage of ammo. Yes, it's a scary time, but even last time was scary during the election too.

ReplyDeleteI agree Regine! What this country is going through is NOT beautiful! I'm sure it breaks the Lord's heart to see all this division going on. Our pastor said today that our hope is not in Donkeys or Elephants but in Christ alone! For those reading this outside of the USA Democrats are represented with the donkey and Republicans have the elephant symbol.

Sympathy and empathy are things I thought were gone but I have seen enough of them in online friends recently that I know nice people still exist.

ReplyDeleteI think the upcoming election has made us all anxious... matter of fact, our so-called political leaders and the divisiveness threatening to tear us apart have filled us with quite a bit of anxiety for the past four years. Let's hope the election and transition of power go smoothly.
