I am absolutely content and have been for a long while. I'm 71 now but the contentment has settled for at least 10 years. Sure, I wish I was healthier and didn't hurt -- don't we all. But the rest of my world is so good and you just figure out how to manage it.
I'm content for the most part, but my feelings go up and down.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if contentment is tied to personality, some are never content. I am always on to the next worry.
ReplyDeleteI'm content and find I am more so as I get older. The things I used to want - like a bigger house, new flooring... doesn't seen so important anymore.

ReplyDeleteI turned 63 recently and God has been so very good to me so yes, I'm content.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I'm more content and grateful the older I get.
ReplyDeleteThe Lord has been generous. At 81 my needs are met. I sometimes tire of this world but I survive.
