Question

A blog commenter said “Does God take up challenges?”  The question hasn’t left my mind yet. It’s a great question. It’s one I haven’t given much thought. God is omnipotent. Nothing is a challenge for Him. I do think He offers Himself everyone who sincerely still has questions as to whether to trust. God has been waiting for me to give it all to Him without caveats. I still cling to my own strength. I do it more than I want to admit. I don’t know if I’m answering the question.  All I know is I’m only free when I stop asking. I hope that God gives you peace. The challenge is:  Will you accept the gift?

  4. That is an interesting question, your reader posted. The way I see it, with God there is nothing impossible. He loves us and wants the best for us. We are often faced with challenges in our lives. He is there to walk with us through these challenges.

  6. I don't question God, or about God. I only pray to God.

  7. Dearest Regine,
Of course there are NO challenges for God as he is way above all we ever can comprehend.
But if we face 'human' challenges, we ought to ask God to help us!

  8. We might be directed by his power to take up a challenge he think is right for us. Sometimes it is a strange thought why we are who we are, and it hard to find peace, but finishing a challenge certainly helps build strength. Happy almost Friday my friend.

  10. I agree with Brian. We have to challenge His patience. And by His Grace, He's always up to it!

  11. A provocative question Regine, and I think you have answered it well. We are, to some degree, always letting go more and more to God, and in doing so find ourselves, in Him, and more and more complete
    Stay safe
    Blessings

  13. This goes along with what I have been reading about Faith vs blind faith and hoping things are okay. Faith in the truest sense is what I hope to shift into some day - not counting on myself to work out any problems but knowing problems are not a creation of God.

  14. It is an ongoing unfinished process in this life. We are loved and challenged in our walk toward Him and with Him. We are learning to be in Him.
