I have been reading a verse in Philippians each day.  Don't worry about anything, pray about everything...whatever is praiseworthy, truthful, admirable think on those things.

Redeemer

The greatest exercise of faith is believing when everything within you is telling you not to do just that.  I am learning in earnest that pain is sometimes necessary, and that alone is painful to type, yet alone accept.  Acceptance is a process.  I want instant results.  I must learn delayed gratification.  It must a constant prayer, a sincere request to let God's will be mine as well.

When our faith is tested

This summer and past few months my faith has been tested.  I have questioned.  I have asked why.  I have tortured myself emotionally.  I have beat myself up over things I can't control.  I have wondered what could quantify mustard seed faith.  These months have brought me to tears, falling on my knees, begging for relief.  It has seen me open up, and want help, a word I signify with weakness.  I had to learn that His strength is made perfect in weakness.  I have to find the verse.  Jesus is good.  He's there even as I wondered where.
There are still trying days, but this too shall pass.
I have to believe that!

Cooking
