Shower

Showering
In the
Joy of simplicity
Releasing the bitterness
I never fully unpacked
In pandemic
I'm having
To forgive myself
For lapses
In judgment and alacrity
Praying
It's not
My demise
I appreciate
The candor
Optimism rules
The fact is
It's not
Like a faucet
I can turn on
Or is it

  2. I love all your poems. Took time to go back and read some of your previous ones. Especially enjoyed the one regarding Faith. It is a challenge at times but God's word promises a rich reward when we keep trusting Him in spite of how are circumstances appear. Please take care. Thank you for stopping to visit me. Hugs

  7. How very thoughtful, Regine. Can we turn it on? I think so -- but it can be a "tight faucet" to turn some days.

  8. Showering in one of those things that give one a new outlook. At least a shower does that for me if I'm in a mood.

  9. Somtimes the faucet sticks, and only a dribble comes out. Persevere.

  16. Oh the tensions in this time, of do I or do I not! Of giving in when we should stay strong. I think we can all identify with you in this Regine. Stay strong
    Stay safe
