purpose

 i write daily

with doubt

questions

and every emotion

i know 

write for yourself

but what if 

I want the words

i type

to mean something

matter

make smiles

tears

or a light bulb

go off

I'm human

needing affirmation 

that this 

endeavor 

has purpose

and deep resonance

    You words do mean a lot and I'm encouraged by what you write. I'm aware though that some who comment may not take the time to actually read what you write before responding. And because of that I have to bite my tongue when I see some comments and I want to scream "Did you even read what Regine wrote?". Maybe because I consider you not just my sister in Christ but my friend and I have this need to defend my friends. I have that problem on my blog too and it can be discouraging to say the least. My encouragement to you is,keep on writing. Those who read your posts will be blessed and those who come to your blog and respond without reading well, it's their loss.

    Yes, my friend, sometimes when I read your words a light bulb goes off, and something hits me telling me that we are all more alike than we realize. We hurt, struggle, worry, laugh, love, and celebrate the same as our fellow man.
