Freely

 In lush green splendor

The rock formations

That surround

The waters width

Amazed with serene peace

As the beauty

Of the natural world

Beckons my attention

With a simple greeting

Hello, sweet friend

Your invitation

Harkens my surrender

Into an embrace

I hardly ever forget

Today

I let yesterday

Be a memory

And the present

An opportunity

Not to relinquish

The joy

That may be

Sing the song

That sets

The soul

Free
