Back to basics
What am I grateful for
Break it
All down
And start again
Because when
You wake up sour
You need to
Try again
What are you grateful for?
This blanket that is keeping me cozy and warm
Coffee
Good books
Raisin Bran
And Jesus
Who is always there
Reminding me
That bearing fruit
Starts with my attitude
Grateful for waking up each day.
ReplyDeleteGrateful for my family and friends
ReplyDeleteBearing fruit absolutely starts with our attitude, Regine. May you realize a plentiful harvest!
ReplyDeleteIs that, yes, a question of attitude. Hug 💛

ReplyDeleteWhen you wake up sour the best thing is to drink a lemon juice. The contrast between sour and sour makes a person sweet and in a good mood.

Love your grateful list. There are so many wonderful things in our lives.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and rest of the week, Regine. ♥
You are so on target about bearing fruit starting with a healthy attitude and the certainty of who we are in Christ. My daughter and I were talking about this yesterday and so the Lord uses you to reinforce this in my heart and my mind. Though I've never met you, you are a blessing to me as a friend and sister in Christ.
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful for my family. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBest regards

ReplyDeleteI'm most grateful for Jesus, then my dear husband and then my family. Without Jesus life wouldn't be worth living.

Gratitude is the cure for many of life's ills. It's something I should work on having more of in my life. Good reminder! :D
ReplyDeleteYou are always so positive and that's why it's nice to read your words. Our attitude is a huge factor.

Amen - we owe all to Jesus, and if nothing else is 'going right' we can always praise him for all that he is and has done.

Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm grateful for Blogger friends, I'm glad the weather isn't too bad even if it is cold, coffee, brownies and of course the characters who inspire me to write.
I was craving Raisin Bran after reading your post, and yesterday I bought some at the grocery store....Raisin Bran with bananas. Have never tried it, but it's good!
