Learned

This weekend I went away, and I learned a few things

Being still will teach more than being in motion. I love feeling small amongst God’s creation.

Community can bring you alive

Being with children brings joy

What have you learned?

  1. Yes re: kids!
Interesting about stillness... I always find it's the other way (a body in motion stays in motion)...
    Happy new week, darling!

  10. One of the best things about life is that we never stop learning. Hope your week is off to a splendid start Regime. I'm so happy to hear that you've been enjoying Extraordinary Attorney Woo. It's such a delight.

  12. When we stop learning new things we are probably not alive anymore. It's best to keep learning and growing one way or the other. There is always something new to learn and to appreciate, if we just open our ears and eyes and listen and look.

  13. Your post reminds me of Psalm 46.10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;. I will be exalted among the nations,. I will be exalted in the earth.” ... ESV...when we are still we will hear his still small voice and see him in creation. He is beautiful and you dear Regine are his precious daughter and He loves you so much and is revealing Himself to you. You are an encouragement to me! Thank you!

  14. Glad you had such a great time this weekend. I just found out today that a friends son has passed away, and makes you realize how quickly a loved one can be gone, to appreciate the time we have with them.

  15. Dearest Regine,
Yes, there still are many joys.
I've learned that to sing (soprano) in our Chancel choir, it unites and gives so much back.
Honoring God with our best voices and organ music is bliss!
    Hugs,
    Mariette
