Some thoughts today
I’m watching the funeral of the Queen, and something is striking. The meaning of life. To love God, country, and family. And yes the family you didn’t know you had.
To serve dutifully. What a concept.
As I ponder. How well do I serve, how well do I love?
I don’t feel l’ve done it well lately. Praying I can be the servant God wants to see.
Can anyone guess why I love my name today?
I am also watching. Regine is a wonderful name
ReplyDeleteRegine means Queen in some languages.
ReplyDeleteI would like to know. Tell us sometime, would you? Your name if unique and pretty.
ReplyDeleteA happy week to you.

The coverage was so moving today, Regine, that I couldn't hold back the tears. She was, and will remain, an inspiration to Christians everywhere. And yes, "Regina" is Latin for queen!

ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
Her 70 years of service is pretty amazing! She will be missed.
ReplyDeleteI should have known, Regine, My daughter was telling me about a statue in Israel (Regina Palestina) she visited this summer with ladies (they visited mostly in the Bethlehem region where they have the Bethlehem Bible College (wonderful people); Your name is fitting you are a queen for sure! I've been praying for you! And we will never know the depth of our service on this earth. There are countless stories recounting the life of the man who led Billy Graham to know the Lord! Your labor doing this blog is not in vain my friend! More love and hugs!
