Dearest Regine, A final taste of my favorite spicy coconut split pea soup...https://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2022/10/spicy-coconut-split-pea-soup.html Have to avoid such high potassium foods... Not easy! Favorite Christmas Gift — to be alive! We both don't adhere to the commercial Christmas in the USA. Just started reading yesterday a Dutch book and will continue... Hugs, Mariette
I am cooking the next plot for the book I am writing. My favourite gift is a book of recipes with edible pages. As I read it I am nourishing mind and body.
What am I cooking - Nuffin! I think we will get a takeaway tonight for a change! As tomorrow is a big Sunday roast. Favourite Christmas gift? - my cosy old woman slippers, my son gave me. What am I reading? Again nuffin! I am spending too much time on my 'puter. I hope whatever you are doing is perfect Regina. Hugs
It's morning here so haven't cooked anything yet - cereal for breakfast! best Christmas gift was definitely the smiles on my kids faces when they unwrapped their gifts on Christmas day. And I've just finished a book so I haven't picked a new one to read yet! :)
We are having an assortment of bought soups and perhaps a grilled cheese to go with them tonight.... Having my family with me at Christmas is the best gift of all!
It's Sunday, and I am reading a Karen Kingsbury book. I have read most of her books They are inspiring from the cover writings, the frontispiece...the acknowledgements, the dedications, all of it. I am upping my movement/walking/aerobics in an attempt to get back in business. The past ints kept me from anything but duty. Now I have some time and beginning to feel more like taking better care of me. :-) So..I will be eating a bit of meat from my homemade veggie beef soup...(all that's left of it) and perhaps a grilled cheese sandwich just as Kathy mentioned above me here.
