Lord,
You are teaching me to not be afraid to ask. No is not a rejection. No is a not yet. It’s I have better. It’s not in your best interest. I’ve been drowning, and now I’m surfacing. That alone is a blessing.
The pain
Not wasted
Not in vain
All a part
Of the process
To get out of me
And into
The present
Where
The promise
Is alive and well
I just read something that said "Every no from God is because what He has is better!:
ReplyDeleteAsk and receive. You have not because you ask not. I am praying, R, for the good things in life for you. ❤️ Miracles!
ReplyDelete(I don't mean to say you have not asked. I am saying it here as a reminder to go to God, seek Him, and ask.)
Amen
ReplyDeleteNever stop asking God, because He will never stop listening.
ReplyDeleteYou say it well for my spouse. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteSo much truth in your words...always. Love that idea of no being instead not yet, I have better for you. :D
ReplyDeleteOh I can relate to this! I just posted on my blog about the Lord telling me no. It wasn't about anything major, but I'm still learning to seek His will for my life. I love how much you trust Him.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words my friend. Asking is part of the journey. (:

I like that part about No being "Not yet, it's not in your best interest, there's something better to come". Thank you for pointing that out!
ReplyDeleteLike your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully said.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and knowing that you have a gift in your words. x
ReplyDeleteSending my good wishes.
