I just bought some new pens and am having a ball practicing my attempt at calligraphy. It's funny how something as small as a 24 pack of colored fine tip pens can make me. Thankful for the small things in life that lift spirits!
I love new pens too! I could use some prayers for my brother and his whole family-- they need jobs, a house/place to live, some good news on the health front. They are having a pretty tough season of living lately.
It's wonderful to see your gratitude for these simple, yet profound, blessings: fresh food, unexpected gifts, new pens, your dogs, and God. It's truly a beautiful way to appreciate each day.
I just shared a new post. You are invited to read. Thank you. Enjoy your weekend.
Sounds good. Hope you're doing well, getting your rest and whatever you need. Thank you for your friendship and love dear friend. I really hope to be done with jury duty soon.
I was checking out at the Dollar General store this evening and saw a display of school supplies/crayons, pens and pencils, notebooks...and I wished I had children at home to buy some for. I know, I could buy some and donate them to our school. Our church already does that and I contribute. But for some reason I wanted some school supplies...
Unexpected gifts are fun! I like your list of gratitude. A praise for me is very good news that my sister shared with me about something in her life. We've all been praying about it for a long time. Hugs xoxo
I like your gratitude list. Funny - i got new pens also today. Our Rite=Aid was going out of business so we went in to see the closing out sales which weren't much of a deal. But, even though i have hundreds of pens I bought more.
We made it safely to Spokane, WA today after several days of travel. Very happy to see lots of old friends and church family. Blessings and hugs, Betsy
Grateful for family - both my 'blood' family and church family. Grateful for uneventful travel to an out of town medical appointment this week Grateful for improved health after several weeks of a chest infection.. Blessings Maxine
