  1. I just bought some new pens and am having a ball practicing my attempt at calligraphy. It's funny how something as small as a 24 pack of colored fine tip pens can make me.
Thankful for the small things in life that lift spirits!

  3. I love new pens too! I could use some prayers for my brother and his whole family-- they need jobs, a house/place to live, some good news on the health front. They are having a pretty tough season of living lately.

  4. It's wonderful to see your gratitude for these simple, yet profound, blessings: fresh food, unexpected gifts, new pens, your dogs, and God. It's truly a beautiful way to appreciate each day.

I just shared a new post. You are invited to read. Thank you. Enjoy your weekend.

  9. I was checking out at the Dollar General store this evening and saw a display of school supplies/crayons, pens and pencils, notebooks...and I wished I had children at home to buy some for. I know, I could buy some and donate them to our school. Our church already does that and I contribute. But for some reason I wanted some school supplies...

  10. Unexpected gifts are fun! I like your list of gratitude. A praise for me is very good news that my sister shared with me about something in her life. We've all been praying about it for a long time. Hugs xoxo

  11. I like your gratitude list. Funny - i got new pens also today. Our Rite=Aid was going out of business so we went in to see the closing out sales which weren't much of a deal. But, even though i have hundreds of pens I bought more.
