Today I have a whole chicken in the crock pot and I'll pull together some potatoes and veggies to go with it. I'm preparing for an 18th birthday party for my youngest tomorrow which means baking up a cheesecake today at his request. I have a few prayer requests-- my brother and his family need all sorts of prayers for health and prosperity and job opportunities, my youngest is going on his first ever job interview today, and I'd love some prayers for my middle son who took his car with him to campus for the first time ever this year. Providence is NOT an easy city to navigate so I'm very conscious of him having to adjust from country to city driving.
My garden is bringing me joy as well. I just did a photoshoot of it- that´s how much joy it has been bringing me. I´m thankful for less fatigue even those my medicine is causing me to sleep less. I plan to see my brother soon and later this weekend more family. Prayers for my heart to remain emboldened to speak truth and to be a vessel of God´s word to others. What about you for all or any of these things?
My kids are grown so we don't really cook anymore. Now we make sliders, or even have cereal for dinner. This summer I was finally able to grow some sunflowers! It's been a lifelong thing. Grew them for a while, then couldn't. They have brought me so much joy this fall! :)
