Rest is indeed what you need to do today. I just finished reading 'This Light between Us' by Andrew Fukada. It's about two kids who were pen pals. One was a Japanese student from California and the other a Jewish girl in Paris and is set in WW2. She ends up in a concentration camp and he's in an internment camp. Very good!
Some days, we just need a take a rest and it is important to take care of ourselves before we take care of others...Thanks for dropping by!! Hugs, Deb Debbie-Dabble Blog.
I hope you´re feeling better today- much more rested and pain free. Not sure what your favorite genres are but I was reminded recently of one my favorites called Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. The plot, the writing and the setting are all delightful.
Glad to hear you're taking time to rest. When you push yourself, proper rest and recovery are so important to reset your body so that you're ready to go again. Enjoy and rest well. You got this <3 I would recommend Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop. It's easily the most charming book I read this year.
Enjoy your day of rest. Take some naps and recharge your batteries. ♥
ReplyDeleteMine! The Levitation Game. I'm reading Lilac Girls and The Seventh Veil of Salome. Both are good.
ReplyDeleteRest is so very important, my dear. Follow what your body is saying to you.
ReplyDeleteGet your rest. My suggestion to read is The Names

I pray you have had some refreshing rest, Regine. No book recommendations - I am currently not reading anything, other than my Bible.

My tired eyes don't allow me to read many books. I hope you find some good ones.
