We are having warmer temps then usual Birthday cards for January birthdays Christmas eve service Advent devotional hopefully the joy of knowing Jesus as my savior
Blog post/memes are making me smile today! I've seen some really funny ones. I'm not making anything since tonight is my husband's company Christmas party. We don't really have any holidays plans but I've been making my way through Christmas with the Queen.
*the Christmas season! *wrapping presents *after visiting with family for a week, spending time with my son, watching Christmas movies, enjoying hot drinks and goodies, reflecting on the real meaning of Christmas. *not reading anything at the time. *too many things to list, but things they asked Santa for. ; )
I´m reading Daphne Du Mauirer´s first novel. I´m smiling about winter break. We have a few upcoming plans and I hope to make some as well. We´re doing lots of gift giving- it´s the best part of the material part of Christmas!
I'm not reading anything extra right now. Trying to keep up with reading blog posts from our friends, and also our daily devotionals from the Bible. I just haven't had time to do much other reading as I am trying to get ready for Christmas. I am not making anything. I am not very creative, nor am I ready to bake. Hopefully my son will come home before Christmas and help with some cookie baking. He enjoys doing that and I'm happy to let him do it. What am I giving others? Well, that's a good question. I have a pile of stuff growing in my spare room, waiting to be wrapped. I need to sort it out and get started on the wrapping and then I will know what I am giving others. Right now it is just a big mess! But it will get done before Christmas Eve. What is making me smile? Reading what others are writing and doing and seeing the smiles on their faces. Preparing my heart for Jesus to come again...yes, we celebrate His birth, but I am looking for His return. That would definitely make me smile. Amen. Merry Christmas to you my friend.
What is making you smile? Visting you dear Regine :)
What are you making? I look at things and say oh I could make that. I'm still looking, lol! What I would love to make are Christmas Stockings and hopefully next year.
Any holiday plans? All our relatives live far away so we will be spending it quietly. Son and daughter-in-law will be coming for our Christmas meal.
What are you reading? The Book of Hope by Jane Goodall.
What are you giving others? As we're all getting older everyone decided it's too expensive to mail gifts. For our son and daughter-in-law, gift cards so that they can buy themselves a nice sweater or something. I also have a couple of stocking stuffers that are all wrapped up. I sent my niece overseas something, but the package got lost in the mail and I am hoping it will turn up before Christmas.
Getting stressed preparing to entertain this weekend
