Happies this week
Left my phone at home mistakenly. Enjoyed a ride to a neighboring town without digital interruption. It was glorious. Observing nature and people watching was just what my soul needed. Highly recommend.
Tried on new sneakers. Didn’t purchase yet. Enjoyed the outing nonetheless.
Enjoyed a good late lunch out. Nothing like good Southern cuisine. Love sweet tea. Don’t need the sugar so I ordered water.

Who in blogland isn't nosy? Kidding, not nosy, "inquisitive" sounds better, right, lol? I would have felt lost without my phone- good for you for making the most of it and turning it into a positive. Southern cuisine is the best! Since I'm not in the south, I don't have access to it often which makes consuming it that much more enjoyable when I do! It sounds like you had a lovely time out yesterday. I hope the rest of your weekend is as enjoyable and soul satisfying. I have not thought of groceries in a while. I don't have anything in my cart at the moment.

ReplyDeleteLet's see -- the happies. A fun birthday luncheon with two friends on Tuesday. Good doc appointments. Good results on my brain MRI. Hosting another lunch here for friends yesterday. Being able to visit friends in different care homes on Thursday. Nothing in my grocery cart this week -- the larder is full!

So glad you had an enjoyable time out and found some nice things too! My happy is it is getting warmer out and we had a little break from the rain and even saw the sun yesterday!! Rain and storms came in over night but thankful no flooding. I know it isn't groceries but I did by a new bird feeder and some more bird seed and suet yesterday :)
