A friend asked one simple question. Care to make a guess what it is? Any ideas? Why is surrender so hard? One day this week I was on top on the world, the next I felt upended. I’m very impatient. I don’t like waiting. I want the answers now. As if having the answers will make me feel better. Have the roadmap. Wanting to see if the dreams I’ve held for decades finally come to fruition.
I don’t know if surrender truly and really is a minute by minute exercise for me. It may very well be. In the meantime it’s an R and R day as I recover.
Never surrender, we all will be here cheering you on towards your dreams.
ReplyDeleteI have those exact same thoughts/questions/issue (being impatient) so I can completely relate to this!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to hear you are recovering! I hope your dreams come true! Take good care of yourself! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, Regine! You've got this.
ReplyDeleteI find it can be hard also, but then I realize something I learned a long time ago. Surrender is easy when you, as much as possible, stay in the moment and not linger in the past. It's easier said than done but surrendering as much as one can remember too is amazing what can happen sometimes. I keep a notebook of so many things that show me in small ways what fun it can be to do that. All the best to you on this beautiful day here in the mountains. Hope you are enjoying your day and feeling good. Seems like you already know lots about the surrender idea. and yes it can take time to show up
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say hello this weekend. : )
