Gratitude

Just a thought.  For the rest of the month I will practice gratitude. It will be active, not passive. I am sore today, but I will relish that. To be able to do one hour of physical activity is amazing. To be able to go into downward dog is even more fulfilling. Is it perfect?  No. Did I just order some occupational therapy aids just now. Yes. The gratitude is two-fold. One the strength and flexibility to do it. The second is the strength it takes means I’m have to strengthen other muscles. My hands need help. Those OT sessions of youth are coming back to me. I’m releasing the pride. I refuse to deal with unnecessary pain when maybe a twenty dollar tool can help fix the problem. Tell me your gratitude today.

  1. Oh you are doing wonderful! I am thankful I am sleeping better at night. I hope I can be on a better diet so my new medication can work better. I am thankful a co-worker got an extra job that he needed. I hope it goes well. I am grateful the sun is warming up and the wind is from south so it's not so bitter cold today. Thank you so much for being here.

  5. I love this post, Regine. Today I'm grateful because so far, Carson's little brother and mom are still testing negative for Covid. I hope that stays that way.

  12. I have gratitude for my business taking off. The husband's job is up in the air right now, so if he's out of work soon, I'm thankful to know that I can support us through it until he's able to find new employment.

  13. I am full of gratitude for having a roof over my head, running water, clothing, heat, food. So many people in the world don't even have the basic necessities. x K

  14. I find the downward dog hurts my back a little as i am a bit inflexible. Good on you to get it done, does not have to be perfect, just do it. I am grateful I have a home and a roof over my head when many have lost this during the year when they lost their jobs.
