 Who are you grateful for?

What are you grateful for?

The place that made you grateful?

Change within self

It’s been more than a decade since I stepped foot in Assisi, Italy. I remember it like it was yesterday. Gingerly walking in that church filled with incense and organs, I was transported into a holy experience. The tears welled up. It was a culmination of a dream that became real. A God who made the impossible, possible. The joy of the Lord is when you appreciate the journey as much or more than the destination.

  21. Who? Too many to list here, including yourself. Your courage often shames me.
What? My salvation, completely nothing I could ever earn.
The place? Lately I have thought often about a special place that doesn't really exist anymore. But forever special in the memory.

  23. I am wondering if that was a Catholic Church. They have the most beautiful Churches in Europe. Yes, once you step inside you feel all the peace with the candles, statues of Mary and the Holy family. How fortunate you got to visit a Church in Assisi, Italy. That is where Saint Francis was from.
