Yesterday rainy, walking in my yard earlier today, the reseeded grass is taking off well and the green plans coming up after being cut low in fall...azaleas and dogwoods doing nicely and other flowers on their way! Thinking of you Regine and praying for you this AM
It's finally a sunny day here, but yesterday we got soaked on our daily walk. You are right though that lots of flowers wouldn't happen without the rain.
It's hard sometimes when you get many days of rain and no sunshine but I don't complain after there are so many praying for rain, going through drought

Rainy days are such a blessing. Your gardenias sound wonderful. I remember the smell so well. Used to have a gardenia bush in our back yard. : )
