I do understand that and then sometimes it doesn't turn out like you hoped and you have to get use to a new normal, that is what has happened with my foot, my surgery didn't turn out good, it has been a year and a half now, and I am worse off then before.
Amen to that, Regine! Recovery often does take much longer than we could ever imagine.

Very well said.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Regine. ♥
I think it is a rule that recovery takes longer than you/we would like. Slow steps...
ReplyDeleteYou'll pass the test.
ReplyDeleteI agree - we always want to recuperate faster than it happens.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it, breathe in …. breathe out….
ReplyDeleteYes - recovery is certainly a lesson in patience with ourselves... we have two in the house with long covid...

Recovery never fits the timeline we allow her. She's kind of stubborn about that.
ReplyDeleteI am with you every minute of the day, taking a test when looking after my husband xx
ReplyDeleteRick is finding that out from Covid, too. Hang in.
