As the sun rises
On this beautiful morning
I’m reminded that
What I thought
Were losses
Aren’t looking
That way
Anymore
I’m still impatient
And want it
My way
So folks
I’m still
Being molded
I’ll take small wins
All day long
Because my
Batting average
Lately
Is nothing
To write
Home about
These days
I'm impatient too - but small wins are still wins! Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteVai dar tudo certo pra você, feliz semana bjs.
ReplyDeleteNone of us are batting 1000 in life. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you woke up with a positive attitude, that is a great thing to have, we all fall short every now and then, we just need to ask God to pick us back up :)

I'm reading a book called I Am by Steve Fry, and just read a chapter about not dismissing the small things. In Zechariah 4 the Lord tells him, "Don't measure things by their lack of scope or minimal size. Don't despise the small things." It may be because what God does with the small thing if the true measure of the greatness of His power. (The little town of Bethlehem, a small band of ordinary men.)
ReplyDeleteI've read the chapter twice now. It's exciting to read that what you thought were losses, the Lord is showing you His perspective of them and they're not really losses at all! Be encouraged! Love you!
