my heart

I haven't slept
The what ifs
Are at it
Again
What if I
Feared God
More than Covid
I'm trying
To control everything
Avoiding a virus
I feel like I
Can't make mistakes
My soul
Is wrestling

  3. You are not alone. I think in some way, we need to face are fear (no matter how...by writing your thoughts, praying, talking, etc.) And, hope for the best. The best is yet to come.

  4. Do not be anxious for anything but in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God,which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
    Philippians 4:6-7.
I hope this helps. Don't fret about the "what ifs" of life. Keep your faith in Jesus!

  6. Dearest Regine,
Guess that those fears are far worse and causing a lot more damage than the actual risk of getting an infection.
Don't let the media reap the benefits of their fear mongering.
Trust God and live a conscious life.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  8. We just have to be patient and vigilant with covid. It will be survival of the wisest and most cautious, I think. God gave us the brains to think things through and the ability, hard as it is, to be patient. He's testing us big time now, though.

  12. I hear you Regine - trusting God is always a 'growing' process. The one thing to remember is that Covid 19 did not take God by surprise, and He really is in control.
    Stay safe

  21. Well put! As I see it... Mankind was not meant to be on this planet forever, time will erase us eventually, but it won't be this year. This is a change to our World part of the natural course, we can not change it, destroy it, or avoid it...so we have to live with it as best and as long as we can. Stay away from as many as you can is your best bet and how Im handling it.

  34. I totally understand. Keep your eyes on Jesus and He will carry you through this difficult time. When I start to fret I get back into the Word, and read the Psalms in particular. God always knows how to pull me back up. Praying for you dear friend.
