 God

You know

Me so well 

That I retreat 

To books 

To escape 

And probably 

To remind 

Me of 

Your faithfulness 

As I’m reminded 

Of past words

My own

My fears

Haven’t changed 

And it’s annoying

Then I remember 

You’ve stayed 

True to Your name

And Your character
