Dogs and daydreams

 Sweet summertime

Dipping toes

In the pond

As I sip

Cherry cola

And eat on

Some gooey

Nougat

Only to be

Taken out

My dream

By a pack

Of barking

Dogs

Named

Tebow

And Bruiser

  15. Dearest Regine,
My Mom and I loved the nougat and I did bring her always some home as we went to any of the Fairs in our neighborhood. She smiled so happily...

  22. Hahaha this was too funny! Sometimes I swear my neighborhood sounds like a bloody kennel. One dog starts barking then they all join with about 4 different houses with barking dogs lol.

  29. I have always admired writers who can put together a poem like this. Whenever I've tried it always ends up rhyming and sounding like I'm in kindergarten. Guess it comes from teaching primary school for soooo many years:)

  33. Dipping toes in pond, sipping cola and snacking is a wonderful way to spend the day. Ha ha.... dogs don't want you daydreaming away. They want your attention. Have a great day.
