Patience

God is teaching me this whether I want to learn this or not.  Sometimes we learn lessons not even knowing it.  Not feeling well after having blood drawn.  I rarely have to have any drawn, very thankful for that after today's ordeal.  All is good, however.  Any lessons you are being taught my friends?  Would love to hear!

What makes you happy?

This is a conscious choice for me.  Just taking a minute, or day at a time.  Right now writing this post is making me happy.  Jesus is good.  Who knew sharing my feelings with you would make me happy.   My own free therapy session!  Who knew?

Mark Twain once said you're only as happy as you choose to be, so I have to make that choice despite what ails me.  Hebrews 7:25. What are your mottos?

Gratitude list

For all that ills me today, I need to make a list of all that is good.
A gratitude list, if you will.
1. An able body- it may not bring me records or accolades, but it works well.
2. Friends I can rely on...blogging friends are included.
3. Family who love me even if I wonder sometimes why.
4. A God who loves me
5. Who sent His Son to take my place

My trip was nice, but it left me with more questions than answers!  God doesn't want me to know everything I guess!  Reading some Psalms this morning and listening to music is soothing my heart.  The things of this earth fade,  but Your Love does not.  They're are seasons where we do not know what to do or feel, so I must just trust and obey as the hymn says.
