Well, my weekend plans are preparing for my middle son to be here Sunday afternoon till next Friday. Always a great pleasure. I am reading, of all things, two books (almost finished both) lent to me by my DIL. They are fashioned for young adults, but this old adult is enjoying them anyway! Nt making much but I will make a lemon pound cake in two days. The son who is going to be here will love it.
Weekend plans are to get things done around here, but it may rain, so it may be indoor stuff. No holiday plans. I just picked up a new book at the library yesterday. I posted it on my blog today. No food today. I made scrambled eggs for breakfast, but worked in the garden. Dinner is on the road, as we have some much needed errands. I hope to try a new recipe this weekend.
We always have a family breakfast on the Fourth, so I'm looking forward to that. And I just checked out a stack of books from my library...now I just have to decide which one to start reading first. Have a great weekend! :D
