Lord
It’s me. I’m here. I’ve been asked to examine my thought patterns. It’s not been a very pretty picture. I’m a negative thinker. It’s been a truth not easy to swallow. The thing of it is I’m glad it’s been brought to my attention. You can’t fix what you don’t see. That’s the silver lining. And I’m grateful for that. Thank you. Love yourself enough to admit you can’t do it alone.
It is never too late to fix what you'd like to fix. :) Happy Wednesday. Hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day, Regine. ♥
ReplyDeleteI tend to be a negative thinker, too. Especially about myself. Why is the negative so much easier than the positive?
ReplyDeleteThose painful truths are a wonderful learning experience.
ReplyDeleteSelf-awareness and a willingness to look honestly at ourselves is a great gift.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to be positive when things are rough. But you are honest and that matters.
ReplyDeleteThought patterns are a good thing for all of us to look at. No one knows, but God does!
ReplyDeleteDon't beat yourself up, the world is a very negative place and living with chronic pain can test even the most positive of people. I can pretty negative at least inwardly. I think a lot of people would be surprised if they knew how I really viewed the world...

I love your blog and your spirit as you share here, and yes, negative thinking sneaks up on me too. Sometimes when that happens I pick up The Book of John in the Bible and read a few verses, that helps me get back on track.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brave share Regine - I found myself slipping into negative thoughts at one point, and it took a determined effort to alter my thinking. So glad I did, and I am sure you will appreciate the effort when you have achieved it
ReplyDeleteBlessings

Many kisses dear R!!!!
ReplyDeleteTry to stay positive!!!
We all have our negative times and I believe God totally understands, because He knows us so well. He knows what is under all of the negative thinking, and He sees the true heart and soul of each of us. He doesn't hold it against us, but tries to lift us up toward heaven with tender love and care. He knows our every need and also how to provide for that need. You are loved with an everlasting love.
