I've refrained from this
I can no longer
My health is at stake
I thought writing
It out would help
It has
But it's not enough
So when people say
You seem fine
Please don't say it
I haven't been fine
In awhile

ReplyDeleteI suffer from anxiety, it makes my depression hella bad. Up until this year I felt like it did nothing but get worse. I started seeing an amazing therapist who helped determine how to release my fear and my mind. Turns out I had all this inspiration, but not a way to materialize it. Those thoughts would build and build until it eventually turned into negativity. My blog really helped and has made such a difference. Your 5th and 6th lines made me think of myself. Actually your whole poem did. I really hope you can find a way to help and release some of the pain!
