Cards

Yesterday, for the first time, I was truly honest at the doctor. My body needs to be checked out. I don’t have the luxury to put it off. Part of being honest is to tell people what I need. What I’d like. I’m slowly learning that I need to acknowledge the fear that consumes me daily. Today is a day that I’m fully resting. I’m basking in silence. And it’s quite a joyful experience.

Jesus

C’est moi

I’m here

To say

I have fear

Whether

It be rational

And help me

Not dread

Its presence

  7. I read down through many of your posts. I have been an isolationist most of my life. I know what it is to be teased, tormented and told you are nothing. I know what it is to not think you are worth anything or that you can't do anything right. then the Lord entered my life and all of that changed. we are worth more than we think. we are loved more than we know. We need to know the Lord loves us as though we were the only one on earth. You are beautiful in every way.

  13. I love this. We have to be honest with our docs but sometimes it's hard. Well done.

  14. Sometimes basking in silence is the nicest days. We are supposed to get a lot of snow, so I will stay still and silent as well, and watch it fall.
