Taking it back
To jumping
In mud puddles
Pigtails
Swinging round
In colored
Rubber bands
As my giggles
Can be heard
Round the block
Recruiting
Others
To join
In the joy
Of pleasure
Derived
From
A five minute
Thunderstorm
Lovely memory 🌈
I can smell the rain. This reminds me to not lose that childlike wonder. Have a great week Regine!
The imagery brings back happy memories
I love to spend a thunderstorm at home with a good book.
Nice to be kids again...
Ah ... those were the days.God bless, Regine.
Oh, to be footloose and fancy free!
Isn't it fun to look back and remember the times we jumped in the puddles so carefree and so appreciate of a rainy day? Loved this, Regine.
Love this, reminded me of my childhood. Out west we would get in the pickup with Dad and go see which of the normally dry arroyos were running water.
What a happy memory indeed! Love visualizing it with you. Delightful!
You're never to old to jump into a puddle. I love this piece!
There's such a lot of joy in these words and memories!
Great fun - I don't recall doing that (too long ago), but I know my children loved it!BlessingsMaxine
