Sight

For the past few days I have put my fear to the side, and truly enjoyed life. My body has been one with nature, and my mind has reaped the benefits. Salty sweat and cool breezes have been constant reminders that initial discomfort later brings me joy that I haven’t felt in years. I have a beauty that says makeup is not needed. When I look at pictures, the old me is there. And it is a sight I long to see. My soul is returning, and my mind is clear. Small victory my friend. I’m savoring it. You should too.  Every victory reveals characteristics not lost, just dormant.

  6. I've not been in fear one bit. Not one day of fear. I worked in an unhealthy environment for 25 years. I didn't live with fear there either.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Regine. ♥

  26. Overcoming fear is no small victory, I think it's a big victory! Fear can be so incapacitating. Learning to set it aside is freedom.

  33. Fear keeps one from flourishing and my age has brought me to a fearless state of mind. Wrinkles? I've earned every one of them and there's no need to cover them up - I've always hated makeup to begin with. Life is short, enjoy it while you're here!

  34. Your words are so inspiring. Nature can help us be more at peace with ourselves. I'm happy to read your positive thoughts and to hear you're feeling well. Yes, every victory reveals something that was already there, just dormant. We are often more than we believe.

  41. This is a very interesting and inspiring post. I just love it so much. For me I find my mind is clear when I am doing something I love doing. Even listening to music, or talking a walk in nature. It is one of the healthiest things you can do. Hope your having a great weekend. http://www.bauchlefashion.com/2021/09/6-looks-thatll-make-you-convert-to-high.html
