Season

 Summer seas

Lead to

The arrival

Of fall leaves

Followed by

White mountain peaks

  6. It is wonderful to have seasons, I'm thinking of "fall" this year as the season of hope.. .may the Lord be close to you during these days of change. Your poems are beautiful. .thanks for such kind remarks on my blog...I have been so busy helping my sweet daughter and I started mid July making flowers to put on our family cemetery which we did yesterday. Our family cemetery is near Cashiers and Highlands NC and the cemetery is land from my mother's old home place. I will post pictures on my blog in a few days! I'm quite sure we would be great friends if we lived close enough to visit together. Even though I'm a lot older, I profit from your story and your wisdom...(Just like you are encouraged by the wisdom of sweet niece.)

  9. Hi Rue
Very beautiful poem! You described a scene we will soon be seeing here at our elevation. Fall arrives early here, but it is my favorite season.

  14. I am NOT rushing the white mountains. But This is a wonderful way to describe where we are at right now in the natural year.

  17. Too true, my sweet friend...
I'm reminded of a Lawrence Ferlinghetti poem, which, in part, offers:
"Outside the leaves were falling and they cried 'Too soon! Too soon'"

Thank you for your endless faith and for always checking on me. Still here, for now.
